Jamie Dworkin joined the Windsong team in 2023.  He oversees the Windsong Wellness vertical which focuses on sourcing, developing, and overseeing opportunities in the alternative wellness space.

Prior to joining Windsong, Jamie headed Seaport Global’s cannabis advisory practice.  Seaport is a leader in cannabis finance, having raised nearly $2 billion in capital for the industry’s most successful operators.  

Prior to joining Seaport, Jamie ran Corporate Finance and M&A for TerrAscend Corp, a Tier 1, multi-state operator.  While there, Jamie is credited with acquiring TerrAscend’s leading Maryland license and operations and closing a critical $125 million debt financing.

Prior to TerrAscend, Jamie was a managing partner in the 1903 Equity Fund, a $320 million operating-focused private equity fund targeting consumer companies in need of transition and capital.  He held partner roles at private equity funds, Saunders Karp & Megrue and BT Capital Partners in the first 12 years of his career.

Jamie received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Georgetown University and a dual JD/MBA from Wharton and The University of Pennsylvania Law School. Jamie lives in Rhode Island with his wife, Lisa.  They have two children, Graham and Ellie.
